What Went Well:

  • Game was immediately received well due to ease of play and theme.

  • After feedback rule sheet was concise and easily grasped by players.

  • Cards were fun and engaging to play, especially synergizing them with each other.

What Went Wrong:

  • Initial player movement options via a dice role were limited and clunky leaving players frustrated.

  • Rule sheet required multiple iterations especially with how obstacles moved.

What I Learned:

  • Chase the fun, we went through numerous iterations of player movement. Settling on giving players the most control.

  • Be quick to iterate and drop ideas if they are not working. The core of our game stayed the same, but we were quick to alter based on player feedback and our own testing.
